About Us
Meet the Center Director
As the director of In GOD’S Hands Christian Youth Center, I am committed to providing a safe and nurturing environment for children. With over 25 years of experience in the field of Early Education, I oversee the daily operations of our center to ensure that our students receive the highest quality care and education. This requires educated staff. After 20 years in the medical field as a degreed cardiovascular interventional technologist and clinical advisor for special procedures, I left the field and began a career in Early Education. I started by earning a CDA certification, followed by an Associate Degree in Early Education from Cincinnati State College. I am currently completing my Bachelor’s degree in Early Education at the University of Cincinnati. I believe that to encourage and develop lifelong learners we must first be one ourselves.
Our Philosophy
We believe that children become successful lifelong learners when their individual needs are met in a loving structured environment that instills strong Christian values early in life. We achieve this in our community-focused setting, with parent inclusion and a rich developmentally appropriate learning environment.
Our History
In God's Hands Christian Youth Center was founded in May of 1999. A commitment to the church and community was the driving force of my desire to offer our youth a positive, drug-free environment. The effort began with prayer in the very neighborhood park that was so drug infested, children could not even play. A park clean-up was organized and the stand against drug trafficking began. Shortly after, we acquired the facility and renovations began!
Health & Safety
At In God's Hands Christian Youth Center, the health and safety of our students is our top priority. We have strict policies and procedures in place to ensure that our facilities are clean and safe, and that our staff are trained in first aid and CPR. We also have security measures in place to ensure that only authorized individuals are allowed on our premises. We believe that a safe and healthy environment is essential for a child's well-being, and we take this responsibility very seriously.
