About the Role
Teacher are responsible to/for:
Understand and implement Step Up to Quality guidelines with the ability to cross-train.
Ensuring compliance for all monitoring agencies, including all CACFP duties
Managing teacher’s assistants
Ensuring positive involvement and communication with parents and families
Implementing learning content standards
Performing screenings utilizing Ages & Stages
Continual parent communication/Conducting parent conferences and meetings
Performing assessments utilizing, Teaching Strategy Gold and Bracken assessment tools.
Writing and implementing lesson plans based on early learning content standards and center based curriculum themes.
Working cooperatively within the community.
Most importantly, creating a positive, safe, learning environment in their classrooms, developing students who are lifelong learners.
Continuing to be learners, completing all required training’s and 20 biannual hours of SUTQ training’s.
Meeting each individual child’s needs with documentation
Requirements
Associate degree in ECE /CDA with CPL5
